Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park is Tasmania at its most untamed. This vast wilderness is largely inaccessible except via remote walking tracks, which makes it a haven for those seeking solitude and raw landscapes. Towering forests, deep gorges, and rushing rivers dominate the terrain, a reminder of just how wild the island’s interior can be.

Although I haven’t yet spent much time exploring the park’s far reaches, I managed to capture some fantastic shots of the Franklin River along the Nelson Falls Nature Trail. The falls cascade through dense rainforest, and the river’s power is both humbling and photogenic, making it one of those places where even a short visit leaves a lasting impression.
