The Pinnacles Desert, located in Nambung National Park near Cervantes, is one of Western Australia’s most surreal and iconic landscapes. Thousands of limestone spires rise eerily from the yellow sand, forming a natural sculpture garden that stretches across the desert floor.

 31451 Lost City

These formations were created over thousands of years, shaped by wind, rain, and time. The result is a landscape that feels almost otherworldly—especially at sunrise or sunset when long shadows stretch across the dunes and the sky glows in soft pastels.

 69607 The Pinnacles

You can drive the loop trail through the Pinnacles or explore on foot, weaving between the formations to take in their size and shape up close. The nearby Discovery Centre offers insight into how these pillars formed and the area’s natural history.
