Accessed from the car park at the end of Wreck Beach track, Wreck Beach is perfect for leisurely strolls and exploring the beach and rock pools. The name pays homage to the numerous ships that met their fate in this area, leaving remnants scattered across the rock shelves. In one of my shots, I captured a rusting old anchor beside a rockpool to evoke a sense of history and location. Pairing it with stormy skies, it's easy to imagine the challenging conditions faced by seafarers in days gone by.
