Broken Head

Broken Head is a beautiful stretch of coastline in the Northern Rivers where rugged headlands meet long, sweeping beaches. The area feels wonderfully natural, with rocky outcrops, grassy headlands, and clear water that changes colour with the light. It’s a great spot for a coastal walk, especially when the tide is low and the shoreline opens right up.

The headland walk is a highlight, offering elevated views back along the beach and out toward the horizon. The mix of open grass, coastal scrub, and ocean makes it feel both wild and welcoming. On a quiet day, it’s easy to find a spot to sit and simply watch the waves roll in.
