Whian Whian Falls

Whian Whian Falls is one of the Northern Rivers’ most impressive waterfall locations, tucked away in lush rainforest not far from the coast. The falls plunge dramatically into a deep gorge, with mist rising through the trees and the sound of rushing water filling the valley below. It’s an easy place to feel completely immersed in nature.

The short walk to the lookout is well worth it, opening up to a powerful view straight across the falls as they cascade down the rock face. After rain, the volume of water makes the scene even more dramatic, while on calmer days the surrounding greenery really takes centre stage.
