Turimetta is a small, secluded beach on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, tucked between Warriewood Beach and North Narrabeen. At about 350 metres long, the beach is backed by steep bluffs and framed by the distinctive headland, giving it a secret-beach feel that’s popular with locals looking for something quieter than the larger beaches nearby.

The shoreline is unpatrolled and can have strong rips and rocky sections, making it more suited to scenic walks, beachcombing and photography than casual swimming. The rock platform to the south creates interesting patterns and small rock pools at low tide, while the headland above provides great lookout points over the surf and along the coastline.

Access to Turimetta is via timber stairways down from the headland or by walking around the rock platform from North Narrabeen at low tide. The beach has no facilities, which adds to its peaceful, unspoilt charm and makes it feel like a little gem tucked away on the Northern Beaches.
